As a pivotal member of our team at Nightwing, you will take on the role of a Software Configuration Management Specialist. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our digital products throughout their entire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures.
- Oversee Configuration Planning and Identification.
- Manage Change Control and Versioning.
- Conduct Status Accounting and Configuration Audits.
- Facilitate Product Release processes.
- Administer digital product development libraries.
- Document and uphold guidelines for dependency management, building, and versioning.
- Oversee Configuration Management Tool administration and manage access to source code repositories.
- Administer and manage DevSecOps tools.
- Lead the Digital Change Review Board (DCRB).
- Maintain awareness of program schedules, identifying risks, and promoting efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency with version control and change management tools.
- Experience in Software Configuration Management, Information Technology, or development.
- Strong skills in JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
We value candidates who have:
- Experience with Software Configuration Management tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Database and Configuration Management tool administration experience.
- Understanding of industry best practices, including Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).
