Position Overview:
To perform magnetic resonance imaging examinations and procedures at a technical level, requiring minimal supervision, under the direction of the radiologist and/or ordering physician for diagnosis and possible treatment.
Assumes responsibility for designated areas of department operation as trained and required.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology. Currently registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with completion and documentation of appropriate training requirements for MRI technology.
- Or graduate of an accredited program for MRI Technologists.
- Or currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI with completion and documentation of continuing education as required.
- Extensive knowledge of MRI safety.
Working Hours:
Full-time days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pay Period:
Monday through Sunday.
Employment and Health Requirements:
- Two recent employment references.
- Online verification of licensure or certification, including expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date.
- BLS - Copy of both sides of the card, through American Heart Association.
- All copies of applicable certifications.
Special Requirements:
- Immunizations, including MMR (Mumps, Rubeola & Rubella), Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B Series, titer or signed declination, COVID-19 vaccine, Flu vaccination or signed JCHC exemption during Flu Season, Negative 2-step Mantoux within 1 year of start, Proof of physical within 1 year of start date, 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date.
- Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year of start date.
- Criminal Background (All states where they hold a professional license and have lived/worked in the past 7 years) within 30 days of start date.
- National &/or State Sex Offender.
- GSA(EPLS) within 30 days of start date.
- OIG-Date within 30 days of start date.
- Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse).
- Completion of CareLearning education modules.
