Job Title: MRI Technologist

Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform MRI exams in accordance with exam procedures and protocols. The successful candidate will use independent judgment to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness.
  • Escort patients to treatment rooms and assist with dressings as necessary.
  • Complete all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of MRI services.
  • Explain MRI procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
  • Administer I.V. contrast.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
  • Complete related paperwork and obtain interpretation by radiologist.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ARRT (R) (MR) certification and Connecticut licensure required.
  • Two years of clinical experience in all MRI procedure types.
  • Siemens, GE experience preferred.
