We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at HSS. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians
- Ensure the highest standards of safety for patients during MRI examinations
- Properly store and maintain equipment
- Instruct patients on exams and accurately log and document related information
To qualify for this position, you must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic program with a certification in MR (ARRT) and a CT State License. A minimum of 2 years of MRI scanning experience is required, with GE and Siemens scanner experience preferred. Flexible working hours and excellent organization and communication skills are essential.
