About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Manager to join our team at PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on schedules for multiple smaller projects or one larger, complex project. This will involve active participation in schedule development, construction planning, and project pursuits in collaboration with the superintendent and project manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate schedule risks, ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Provide schedule risk analysis and reporting to senior project management, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Manage schedule updates and revisions, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Applicable scheduling certification an asset.
  • 8-10 years of progressive scheduling experience in construction or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in a supervisory role is an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods, and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of schedule requirements in contract documents.
  • Prior experience with field construction operations and logical sequencing of work.
  • Ability to create solutions for complex engineering and planning principles.
  • Thorough understanding of organizational strategies and practices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.
