Qualcomm is a leading innovator in the development and commercialization of foundational technologies and products used in mobile devices and other wireless products. As a Global Business Development Leader for Strategic Accounts, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by developing strategic partnerships with key global hyperscaler accounts, including Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Amazon.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to monetize Qualcomm's extensive portfolio within these key accounts. Your expertise will help evangelize Qualcomm's solutions through viable business strategies and commercialization plans, establishing the company as a sustained leader in the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to capitalize on Qualcomm's comprehensive portfolio within key global hyperscaler accounts.
- Evangelize Qualcomm's solutions through effective business strategies and commercialization plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Establish and maintain key executive relationships with global strategic customers to foster long-term strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Lead business development strategies and initiatives to expand new business opportunities across key global accounts.
- Foster a deep understanding of Qualcomm's technology and portfolio to drive strategic alignment with key partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate internal planning processes, ensuring seamless execution and support for long-term business goals.
- Manage customer design business cycles from cradle to grave, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field of study.
- At least 15 years of experience in business development and/or strategic sales of technology products to large-scale companies operating in datacenter and wireless infrastructure, consumer electronics, automotive, IoT, and apps ecosystems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or master's degree in engineering.
- Twenty (20) years of experience in business development and/or strategic sales of technology products specifically to large scale companies operating in the areas of Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics (Mobile, PC, Wearables, AR/VR, Gaming etc.), Automotive / Autonomous Driving, IoT, Apps ecosystem (Maps, Audio-Video streaming, E-commerce, Payments, Social Media), etc.
- Experience in business development and/or strategic sales of technology products specifically to key Global Strategic accounts – Microsoft, Google, Facebook and/or Amazon.
- Technical expertise in one or more areas of the following areas – Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics (Mobile, PC, Wearables, AR/VR, Gaming etc.), Automotive / Autonomous Driving, IoT, Apps ecosystem (Maps, Audio-Video streaming, E-commerce, Payments, Social Media), etc.
- Strategic Key Account Management Expertise, ability to build and nurture executive level customer relationships & influence.
- Business and financial expertise to build long term business cases with clear ROI.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
