As a Financial Crimes Investigator, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, from complex financial crimes to emerging threats. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of financial crime management processes, frameworks, and techniques, staying current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Providing input and developing recommendations for process and customer service improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of programs designed to minimize risk exposures and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of analytical processes, leveraging knowledge of risk management and compliance.

**Requirements:**

  • Typically, between 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements as they apply to financial crimes is an asset.
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, processes, and organization is an asset.
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.

  • A competitive salary range of $44,000 - $82,000 per year.
