Job Description

The Executive Director of Entertainment Operations is a key ambassador for Elevate Entertainment Group's dine-in and traditional theaters, bowling, virtual reality, food and beverage, and gaming operations. This role is responsible for coordinating events and strategizing ways to create new revenue streams and maximize sales to achieve Elevate Entertainment Group's goals. The successful candidate will provide leadership and development to management and team members, fostering a professional and safe work environment that empowers everyone to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, coach, and develop team members in their specific job functions
  • Interview, hire, and evaluate team members
  • Prepare administrative reports and special reports for senior management and the corporate office
  • Ensure cash handling procedures and policies are followed to avoid discrepancies
  • Inspect building, parking lot, and lawn conditions, and initiate repair and maintenance according to company policy
  • Organize and conduct team meetings and training sessions
  • Control costs, including direct operating expenses, purchasing, and ordering inventory and supplies
  • Monitor risk management, including team member and guest safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, and accident reporting and investigation
  • Ensure team members meet EVO Entertainment guest service standards by performing daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties, and proper staffing in each area
  • Work effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of dining theater, entertainment center, or restaurant operations management experience in a high-volume operation
  • Minimum 3 years of F&B management experience in a high-volume management role, ideally with a full-service bar and kitchen
  • Proven track record of operational excellence
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds at times
