About the Role

Michigan Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator Senior to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study Coordination: Coordinate and administer clinical research studies, including preparing written instructions and procedures, overseeing participant screening, and conducting interviews and assessments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including IRB amendments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Logistics and Administration: Oversee the procurement of study equipment and materials, test and maintain equipment, and assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of junior research staff.
  • Data Management: Assist with data collection, entry, and verification, and upload data to relevant registries.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Develop and maintain effective relationships with research participants, team members, and stakeholders, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification: Certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Association (SoCRA) as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload efficiently, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to problem-solve individually and within a team dynamic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Six or more years of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials.
  • Skills: Previous experience using Microsoft software, REDCap, GraphPad Prism, and SPSS, and previous experience with wrist actigraphy, Fitbit, and wearable technology.
