Job Overview
Michigan Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fundraising Coordinator to join their University Advancement team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the development team in securing gifts and donations from high-level donors and prospects.
About the Role
The Senior Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing fundraising strategies, managing relationships with donors and prospects, and preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders. This individual will also provide administrative support to the development team, including calendar management, travel coordination, and event planning.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the Senior Fundraising Coordinator will need to have a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, preferably in a fundraising environment. They will also need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and familiarity with DART and other development reporting systems are highly desirable. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the University of Michigan and the Michigan Medicine System organizational structure, culture, operations, and procedures.
Work Environment
The onsite location for this position is an office suite at the Building in Ann Arbor, MI. This provides free, on-site parking for staff. The position may also be eligible for flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, the University of Michigan offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
