About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in providing engineering solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in engineering analysis, design, and field inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.
  • Perform basic calculations based on assignment, including hydraulic calculations, traffic projections, and site earthwork.
  • Assist in designing water and sewer systems for private and municipal systems.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects.
  • Document design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoring project design progress.
  • Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions.
  • Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) License preferred.
  • Basic skills or knowledge with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and the ability to complete AutoCAD training sessions as quickly as possible.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
