The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, possess robust technical expertise, and excel in project management and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to master planning and initial design concepts.
- Support fee assessments and proposal development.
- Oversee design budgets and project timelines.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead multiple engineering projects from design inception to construction completion.
- Guide and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD professionals.
- Employ AutoCAD/Civil3D for the design and detailing of medium to large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Participate in project meetings throughout the design and construction phases.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on deliverables.
- Provide construction administration support, including review of shop drawings, responses to RFIs, and site observations.
- Monitor project financials and manage client invoicing.
- Engage in collection and accounts receivable processes.
- Be prepared to work overtime as needed.
This role is predominantly technical and involves both office and fieldwork. Required abilities include:

- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Repetitive tasks involving keyboard and mouse usage.
- Capability to carry and navigate ladders.
- Color recognition and communication skills in English.

Required
- Minimum of 7 years in site development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Strong written, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Experience working with diverse clients and regulatory bodies.
- Proven skills in marketing and business development.
- Possession of a PE license in Arkansas or the ability to obtain one promptly.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D for civil construction documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of municipal and commercial site development projects.
