Essential Qualifications for the IT Procurement & Vendor Management Specialist:

#1. Proven experience in procurement and/or financial transactions management.

#2. Over 8 years of experience in technology procurement.

#3. Extensive vendor management experience spanning more than 8 years.

#4. Significant experience in addressing end-user IT procurement requirements in a corporate setting for over 8 years.

#5. In-depth knowledge of telecommunications vendor management and statement analysis for 8+ years.

Key Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant business discipline.
  • Prior experience in procurement and/or financial management.
  • More than 8 years of experience in technology procurement.
  • Extensive experience in managing vendor relationships for over 8 years.
  • Strong background in supporting corporate IT procurement needs for over 8 years.
  • 8+ years of experience in telecommunications vendor management, including analysis of statements.

Additional Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining strong relationships within the Technology department.
  • Proficient in active listening and engaging in discussions to extract relevant insights and solutions.
  • Demonstrated work ethic with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Expertise in Technology Procurement, Vendor Management, Budget Oversight, Invoice Reconciliation, and Contract Management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics GP.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex functions.
  • Ability to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, facilitating collaboration with IT management and departmental staff.
  • Ability to identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical skills to assess pricing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Self-driven with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Other Important Requirements:

  • This role requires 100% onsite presence.
