Job Summary

Pasta Mia is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery, including compressors, boilers, and packaging equipment.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts inventory and equipment performance.
  • Supervise and train junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of our manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including USDA, SQF, FDA, and Health Department standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory and its application in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
