Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the efficient operation of the team. This role involves a range of tasks, from filing and phone duties to handling supply requests and distributing mail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain personnel files, including alphabetizing loose paperwork and retrieving rehire and terminated files.
  • Compile personnel files for subpoena requests and prepare legal files.
  • Handle supply requests, distribute mail, and ensure break room supplies are replenished.
  • Prepare and gather quarterly meal acknowledgement forms.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, greet and direct visitors, and make conference room reservations.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages via various carriers.
  • Collect applications from walk-in applicants and distribute to appropriate parties.
  • Process Disability and Paid Family Leave claims, respond to Unemployment Claims, and manage time off requests.
  • Enter warnings, suspensions, and till variances in the UKG system and update employee information.
  • Translate documents from English to Spanish and vice versa for the HR Department.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year experience in a professional office setting.
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English.
Pay Rate

$20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
