Finance Operations Manager

Role Summary:
As a vital member of the FIJI Water Finance Team, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in cost accounting and financial reporting, along with a collaborative spirit to work effectively with international teams. This position demands initiative, a proactive approach, and a genuine curiosity about the business operations.
- Oversee the formulation and implementation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, emphasizing key business drivers and financial metrics.
- Accountable for the preparation of monthly financial statements, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets in collaboration with Corporate FP&A.
- Work closely with plant finance and operations teams to establish and uphold budgetary standards, cost estimates, and actuals across the supply chain, including:
- Raw material procurement
- Commodity management
- Production overheads
- Logistics operations
- Coordinate the communication of essential financial data to ensure timely and comprehensive business planning.
- Guide direct reports in analyst functions, including monthly close processes, journal entries, and departmental financial analysis.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure adherence to budgets and promote sound financial decision-making.
- Maintain internal transfer pricing structures.
- Lead the development of pro-forma financials for new product initiatives.
- Transform extensive financial data into coherent narratives with clear insights and implications.
- Utilize Oracle for the creation of enhanced reporting tools.
- Educate internal and external stakeholders on the financial performance of their respective areas.
- Focus on key performance indicators and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Partner with Accounting for the annual audit process.
- Engage with the Operations team to analyze trends in material pricing, production costs, and logistics expenses.
- Stay informed about current corporate and operational initiatives.
- Regularly assess business processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan and analyze capital expenditure projects to ensure budget compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports while collaborating closely with the finance team.
- Significant experience in leading financial planning and analysis within CPG or retail sectors.
- Expertise in managing financial reporting for operations, cost of goods, and capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and procedures.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with VBA is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

- Hands-on approach with a commitment to producing high-quality work within strict timelines.

Compensation: The pay range is $135,000-$145,000, which may include a discretionary bonus, with final compensation based on skills and experience.
