Job Overview

Essential Functions
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests as needed to assess patient health.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe and monitor medications, adhering to state and University guidelines.
  • Participate in research initiatives and educational activities to enhance patient care and professional development.
  • Engage in quality management, data collection, and performance improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
Minimum Requirements

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority.
  • Board Certification in a relevant nursing specialty.
  • Three years of nursing experience, with additional experience depending on specialty.

Physician Assistant:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active Ohio Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority.
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Minimum one year of experience, with additional experience depending on specialty.
