Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess training needs and develop effective training programs
  • Implement and provide in-service education and department-specific new team member orientation
  • Ensure all medical staff are trained to provide care in accordance with our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care
  • Assist in educating and treating residents
  • Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis and may cover up to 8 weekends over the course of the year

Requirements:

  • Completion of Accredited Registered Nursing Program (RN)
  • Current RN license in Applicable State
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have a DSD certification per state regulation
  • Current or prior Skilled Nursing or Senior Care experience highly desirable
  • Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills
  • Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records, and communicate with team members
  • Minimum of two years of RN experience or one year as a nursing supervisor
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
