POSITION SUMMARY:
The Outreach Worker plays a crucial role in engaging specific residents within a community revitalization and human capital initiative. Key responsibilities encompass disseminating information regarding revitalization projects, identifying and tracking displaced households, supporting specialists, and assisting with various tasks as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate the distribution of informational materials such as flyers, newsletters, and mailings.
- Network and collaborate with other agencies and community organizations.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of individuals contacted outside of the resident population.
- Participate in meetings as requested and perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma with some college education preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Willingness to attend evening and weekend events as necessary.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and exhibit effective communication skills.
