About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shelter Operations Coordinator to join our team at Dreamville Staffing. As a key member of our residential support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Intake and Support: Assist clients with intake procedures, prepare client intake records, and provide information and referrals to community agencies.
  • Residential Management: Answer phone calls, respond to questions about shelter operations, and perform client intake procedures, including running background checks and preparing client intake forms.
  • Housekeeping and Chore Distribution: Assign daily cooking, cleaning, and maintenance chores to clients, ensure completion of tasks, and participate in cleaning and maintenance of facilities and supplies.
  • Building Security: Ensure clients comply with house rules, check client baggage for prohibited items, record incidents, and notify supervisor of special circumstances or unusual problems.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Client Verification: Verify clients' hospital stays and medical needs, and inform supervisor of any referral issues.
  • Facility Maintenance: Supervise daily cleaning of the facility and ensure it is maintained in a neat and proper order.
  • Seasonal Program Events: Assist with seasonal program events as needed.
