Senior Director of Brand Partnerships

About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Brand Partnerships to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with clients and agencies across various verticals.
Responsibilities- Create and pitch customized brand content, digital media, and influencer campaigns leveraging our social platforms
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and renew accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client and agency partners, staying up-to-date on their business challenges and opportunities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on marketplace trends, technologies, and developments
- Secure client meetings, present to prospects, and submit proposals to own the sales cycle from lead generation to close
- Develop a strategic approach to building our new accounts and devise effective sales strategies to identify larger opportunities and drive increased account activity
- Strive to have strong relationships where you have intelligence about your client goals and objectives before the RFP
- Sell a variety of solutions to clients, including custom content, editorial sponsorships, mobile executions, programmatic, and demonstrate a curiosity for new and evolving products
- Forecast, track, and report revenue contribution and performance using our internal tools
- Contribute to the strategic mission of the sales team by raising ideas, questions, and concerns as we work to continually elevate our work in the marketplace
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
- A minimum of 5 years of digital media sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of success
- Established relationships within various verticals, including Travel, Retail, CPG, Finance, and Automotive, with active client relationships
- Confidence in prospecting new clients, generating leads, and closing complex and creative six and seven-figure deals
- Proven success in masterfully negotiating, closing, and executing complex, customized marketing/advertising solutions in content marketing, custom branded content, and digital/social media
- Collaborative working style, with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, and a passion for excellence
- Results-driven orientation, superior client management skills, excellent follow-up and follow-through
- Independent self-starter with strong contacts at key digital agencies and clients, able to get up and running quickly
- High degree of integrity and business ethics
- Based in Los Angeles and willing to travel as needed
- College degree required
