Mechanical Assembly Technician

Position Overview:
The Mechanical Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of marine propulsion products and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly of propulsion machinery that operates mechanically and hydraulically.
- Participate in factory acceptance testing of completed assemblies and components under supervision.
- Document assembly procedures accurately, including data entry for tracking purposes.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards as per the Quality Assurance System.
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Operate overhead cranes certified for loads up to 100 tons.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of personnel both within and outside the organization.
- Work effectively in both team-oriented and independent settings to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED certificate is required, along with 2 years of experience in the assembly, installation, or testing of mechanical rotating equipment or electro-hydraulic systems.
