About the Role:

We are in search of a proactive and enthusiastic engineer to enhance our sales team, focused on nurturing relationships with existing clients and securing new accounts. This rewarding position encompasses applications engineering, sales assistance, and field service responsibilities. As a Field Applications Engineer, you will excel in a dynamic, results-driven setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver thorough application engineering and design support for diverse ventilation initiatives to effectively fulfill customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Distributors.
  • Participate in inside sales support, application engineering, and external sales efforts.
  • Conduct presentations, prepare quotes, provide technical product assistance, perform site visits, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Educate and demonstrate CaptiveAire products to market participants through calls, meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects within the industry.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and aim to surpass customer expectations.
  • Prioritize quick response times as a key focus.
  • Initial training and work setup will be in a designated location, transitioning to a remote role.

Requirements:

  • Ideally possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Hold a four-year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction, or a physics-related discipline.
  • Demonstrate strong computer, organizational, communication, and presentation capabilities.
  • Show a genuine interest in customer engagement.
  • Adapt swiftly to new technologies and exhibit business insight.
  • Display a strong passion for work with a commitment to achieving success.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.
  • Must possess a proactive and driven mindset.
