Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Purchasing Specialist to lead our automotive infotainment sourcing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement commodity strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement commodity strategies for automotive infotainment purchasing
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through key performance metrics
  • Lead cross-functional evaluation of suppliers' preparedness for mass-production
  • Act as program manager during the pre-production phase to ensure project requirements are met
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in purchasing environment with experience developing and executing procurement commodity strategies
  • Effective negotiation experience specific to Automotive infotainment purchasing
  • Analytical skills, ability to work independently, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive, manufacturing or related industries
  • A reputation for developing and nurturing excellent stakeholder and partner supplier relationships
  • Experience managing supplier performance
  • Program management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Proactivity, initiative and the ability to work across multiple workstreams
What We Offer

Scout Motors offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and income protection plans, 401(k) program with employer match and immediate vesting, and generous Paid Time Off including 20 days planned PTO, 40 hours of unplanned PTO and 14 company or floating holidays, annually. We also offer up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave for biological and adoptive parents of all genders.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent. Initial base salary range = $95,000-$115,000.
