Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Lighting EE to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing the EE strategy for lighting (interior and exterior) as well as outside mirrors from concept to production. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of our vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EE strategies for lighting and outside mirrors
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure design direction and execution
  • Participate in RFQ packages, tech reviews, and supplier selection
  • Lead product development teams to create unique Scout accessories
  • Contribute to product specification books, test plans, and quality assurance requirements
  • Direct design and analysis groups to create ICDs, device transmittals, and connection pinouts
  • Ensure program targets, including piece cost, ED&D budget, timing, weight, and quality, are met
  • Track open issues and collaborate with other functional groups to drive issues to resolution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field
  • 5-10+ years of experience in body electrical areas and relevant automotive assignments
  • Skilled in utilizing CATIA for designing and developing detailed parts
  • Strong technical skills and expertise in lighting components and systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with people across all organizational levels
  • Experience working on Electric Vehicle programs desirable
