Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants, bars, and breakfast services. As a key member of the F&B team, you will assist the management team in overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of breakfast, restaurant, and banquet operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to F&B staff, including training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct daily reports on covers, operational information, and other key performance indicators to inform management decisions.
  • Supervise restaurant and breakfast employees during service, providing assistance with bussing, food running, and other tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with staff regarding specials, banquets, and expectations, ensuring a cohesive and efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate with other departments to explore new business opportunities and plans, driving revenue growth and customer engagement.
  • Meet with the Restaurant Manager to discuss progress on assigned projects, set goals, and determine future assignments.
  • Communicate regularly with the Restaurant Manager and F&B Manager to ensure urgent requests or issues are addressed promptly.
  • Assist in planning, setting up, and running catering, holiday, wedding, and banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality presentation.
  • Set up and break down breakfast buffets, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation during service hours.
  • Conduct daily inventory and restocking of dishes, glassware, and food items, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to service and presentation standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Assist in planning the weekly schedule, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage for all shifts.
  • Take a visible leadership role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
  • Assist with food ordering for breakfast, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and coach staff with input from department managers, recommending corrective action as needed to drive performance improvement.
  • Complete reports, projects, and paperwork as assigned, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager and F&B Manager with payroll information, including schedule changes, missed punches, and alternate job codes.
  • Collaborate with all areas of the F&B department, including breakfast, lounge, and banquets, to drive consistency and excellence in service delivery.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of F&B management experience preferred.
  • 1 year of hotel industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and cooking methods and wine preferred.
