Job Summary

The Certified Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to end-users on our electronic health record system. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training content for end-users on our electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training is aligned with business needs
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users through various channels, including classroom training, online resources, and one-on-one coaching
  • Stay up-to-date on system updates and changes, and communicate these changes to end-users
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training solutions
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, job aids, and online resources
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training content
  • Provide feedback and coaching to end-users to improve their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, healthcare, or business
  • 2+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with electronic health record systems and healthcare IT
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Epic Systems
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Experience with training and development in a healthcare setting
