Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Leadership: Lead and manage the Obstetrics Department, including supervising staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate clinical performance and patient outcomes.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall vision of the hospital.
  • Staff Development: Facilitate continuous education and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse licensed within State of practice.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
