Job Title: Director of Obstetrics Leadership Position
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Obstetrics to lead our Obstetrics Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Obstetrics Department, including supervising staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance and patient outcomes.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall vision of the hospital.
- Facilitate continuous education and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Active Registered Nurse licensed within the State of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with 2 years of experience in a management role.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
