Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Equinox in Great Neck. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Service:
    • Achieve monthly sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the sales team
    • Provide unparalleled customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors to the shop and Equinox
    • Maintain knowledge of all club and shop services, programs, and products
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Understand and uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies
    • Ensure personal comprehension of all communication and training materials, and assist with the timely and accurate completion of assigned operational tasks
  • Product and Presentation:
    • Assist in maintaining a visually appealing and well-organized sales floor, adhering to company brand standards
    • Ensure excellent housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms
  • Professional Dimension:
    • Build effective relationships and partnerships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients
    • Maintain a working knowledge of happenings and general standards and practices outside of the shop, in other departments, to encourage camaraderie and team spirit
    • Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures, embracing and supporting company initiatives
    • Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, with both tact and diplomacy
    Qualifications:
    • The ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
    • Experience in a customer service business, preferably in retail
    • Hardworking and diligent, with honesty and personal integrity
    • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Ability to utilize new techniques and ideas
    • Availability to work a varied schedule, based on the needs of our unique retail business
    Essential Physical Requirements:
    • Standing, sitting, and walking
    • Squatting, bending, and reaching
    Pay Transparency:

$16/hour and the ability to earn additional incentives
