Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Academic Program Administrator to support the Dean's Office and Boston-London Program at the College of General Studies. This is a vital role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Faculty Actions: Process new appointments, re-appointments, terminations, retirements, promotions, leaves of absences/sabbaticals, and annual reports.
  • Payroll and Stipends: Manage hourly staff payroll and process stipends as needed.
  • Student Employment: Oversee student employment for the College and facilitate the processing of semiannual student merit scholarships.
  • Boston-London Program Logistics: Oversee the logistics of the Boston side of the Boston-London Program, including meeting with faculty to discuss plans and execute necessary program logistics.
  • External Disbursements: Execute external disbursement payments as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide secondary support for events and programs, purchasing, building needs, and Dean's Office management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of administrative experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • MS Office proficiency required and experience with SAP/BUworks, Zoom, Ariba, and Concur preferred.
