Job Title: Field Safety Specialist

Signal Energy Constructors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety management team, you will be responsible for promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Site Safety Manager in the development and implementation of injury and illness prevention plans for construction projects.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project safety plans.
  • Assess the safety of work performed and track corrective actions to ensure compliance with project safety plans and Signal Energy's safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and determine root causes, developing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Verify that all project personnel have the requisite safety training pertinent to their scope of work.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in construction safety management or related field and/or three years of construction safety management experience.
  • Safety auditing experience and knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • OSHA 510/500 certification, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and BCSP or other equivalent safety certifications.
