Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and accountable Safety and Security Specialist to oversee and safeguard the premises while serving as a proactive deterrent to criminal activity and ensuring the well-being of residents.
In this role, you will respond promptly to all emergency calls from residents and monitor for any irregularities occurring on the property. You will uphold the guidelines and regulations established by Fellowship Square, ensuring the rights of all residents are protected in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws.
This position is hybrid in nature, encompassing both security and maintenance responsibilities. It presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Safety and Security Specialist who enjoys hands-on tasks. The maintenance aspect of your role will involve assisting with general repairs on-site, such as painting, moving furniture, and clearing blockages, as directed by your supervisor, while collaborating effectively with the team to address needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor alarm systems and CCTV surveillance.
- Conduct data entry tasks.
- Manage phone communications and direct calls appropriately.
- Engage emergency services when necessary.
- Assist with on-site repairs, including painting, furniture relocation, and drain unblocking.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a security role is preferred.
- Senior lift assist training is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Fingerprint Clearance card is necessary.
- Guard Card certification is essential.
- Required skills include strong observational abilities, sound judgment, common sense, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer operation experience or training is necessary.
Work Schedule:
- Workdays: Wednesday through Sunday, 3 PM to 11 PM
- Days Off: Mondays & Tuesdays
