Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People Management Services to lead our People and Culture team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business results through effective talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dynamic leadership and coaching to our People and Culture staff to achieve operational excellence and retain our reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and implement subject matter expertise in People and Culture systems and payroll for our government contracting, hospitality, gaming, and retail businesses.
  • Manage multiple government contracts and development projects while maintaining compliance with acquisition regulations and various government contracting methods.
  • Ensure regular staff training, evaluation, and service assessment to support all team members and departments.
  • Work closely with operating and support staff, including Payroll, Legal, and Finance.
  • Manage assigned budgets and conduct forecasting and planning to meet financial objectives.
  • Oversee compliance in all assigned areas, demonstrating expertise in labor, wage, and hour laws, benefits, and tax regulations.
  • Provide strategic leadership regarding HRIS and related systems to ensure optimization, efficiency, and automation.
  • Oversee all People-related data and records, ensuring security and efficiency of document management.
  • Make People information and analysis available to operating departments to support operating, staffing, and business planning decisions.
  • Establish regular audit results to ensure accuracy of team member pay, benefits enrollments, and benefit plan compliance.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of People and Culture management/operations experience in a large, operationally diverse organization in the information technology industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in government contracting and maintaining compliance with regulations like FAR and DFAR.
  • A bachelor's degree in business management or human resources or equivalent experience, with a Master's in Human Resources or an MBA preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and other wage, hour, and labor laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated business and technical writing abilities.
  • Strong math skills with budgeting and analysis experience.
  • Flexibility to provide People and Culture leadership during extended office hours and oversee staff working nights and weekends.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and HCM management experience, preferably UKG/Ultipro, and/or KRONOS.
