Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Gear Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing world-class sales support and customer service to our clients. You will manage all facets of the customer experience, including sales, service, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert sales support and customer service to clients through learned skills in order management, product inquiries, cross-selling, troubleshooting, company financing options, account status, and marketing promotions.
  • Manage all facets of the customer experience through all available contact channels, including chat, email, inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients who interact with the business via web and phone orders.
  • Leverage the Salesforce platform to manage client relations, communications, sales activity, and outreach.
  • Grow a book of business through daily outbound calls to create relationships with new potential clients and foster relationships with existing clients.
  • Drive metric performance in the areas of sales, service, call handling, and quality standards.
  • Have ongoing exposure to instrument and product knowledge through vendor and in-house training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Music industry experience in retail sales or as a musician, some gear/product knowledge is required.
  • Proficient with computers, be able to navigate systems and platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must reside in the state of Tennessee, Indiana, or Utah
