Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician for Electrical and Security Systems to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for programming and commissioning security systems, handling maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, and creating inspection reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and commission security systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security systems to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with security systems
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to document system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide on-call support for emergency services to ensure prompt response and resolution of critical issues

Requirements

  • Completion of training in electrical or telecommunications engineering (electronics, IT systems electronics, telecommunications, etc.)
  • Several years of experience working with security systems (systems in the areas of fire, burglary, smoke/heat extraction, emergency lighting, video, access control, call systems)
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
