Field Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and troubleshooting order process issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Manage delivery schedules and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Communicate effectively with customers to collect accounts receivable
  • Utilize market intelligence databases and attend trade shows to identify new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products
  • Drive to customers and prospects to deliver products and build relationships
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales goals

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to build relationships and develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive and results-driven mentality
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; experience with CRM tools preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:

  • Requires standing, walking, and driving frequently
  • Lifting and carrying objects of various weights occasionally or frequently

Compensation:

The expected base rate for this role is between $50,000.00 and $95,000.00, with additional incentive compensation and benefits available.
