Job Description

Avista is seeking a highly skilled and organized Enterprise Technology Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within our company.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor timeline changes and communicate new information to the team, including project changes and adjustments to schedules.
  • Assist in the development and review of all types of department projects.
  • Manage small projects from beginning to completion.
  • In partnership with the Project Manager, ensure that projects align with set strategy and budget.
  • Support Project Managers with the facilitation and delivery of lessons learned.
Requirements

Project Coordinator I:

  • High School, GED or Equivalent.
  • Up to two years of related office or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Proven ability working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on contract-related issues.

Project Coordinator II:

  • AA Degree.
  • Three years plus of related experience, displays experience working with contractors, consultants, and designers in creating Project Documents.
  • Proven track record of contributing as a team member and successfully building relationships both internal and external.
  • Display competent knowledge of the Project Management process and must be able to complete complex work assignments.

Project Coordinator III:

  • AA Degree.
  • Five plus years of related experience, displays experience working with contractors, consultants, and designers in creating Project Documents.
  • Displays ability to lead small projects and complete projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Use of MS Project.

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane, Washington headquarters at least 3 days per week, including Mondays and Tuesdays, with an additional day determined by the employee and manager.
