About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. As a key member of our safety department, you will play a critical role in empowering our managers to create a safe work environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational health and safety programs to minimize workplace hazards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices.
  • Survey and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Provide specialized safety and health training programs to communicate hazard control information.
  • Foster a safety-centric culture within our organization.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related experience or training preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and occupational health and safety compliance with applicable federal and state regulations/standards.
