This is a full-time, on-site role. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The Senior Program Executive is a pivotal leadership role with significant internal and external responsibilities.
In this capacity, the individual will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to define the vision, strategic direction, and priority initiatives of the organization.
The Senior Program Executive will oversee the management of all program activities, ensuring that our initiatives operate with high responsiveness, quality, and efficiency.
Additionally, this role involves developing and supervising program evaluations to assess outcomes and ensure adherence to standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
The Senior Program Executive is responsible for the direct supervision of five program department heads and the oversight of all program supervisors, direct care staff, and administrative/support personnel.
This role requires attracting, retaining, training, and mentoring staff while being committed to their professional growth.
Monitor compliance with Federal, State, and local government contract requirements, ensuring that targets and deliverables are met.
Prepare grant reports for the Executive Director to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Outcome Measurements:
Develop and implement protocols for monitoring the quality and quantity of services delivered, ensuring adherence to outputs, outcomes, and goals as defined by grant deliverables.
Regularly analyze and report on program outcomes, making necessary operational adjustments.
External Relationships:
Establish and nurture relationships, collaborations, and partnerships with other organizations to enhance services for families.
Manage relationships with key funders and partner organizations, supporting fundraising efforts through site visits, program presentations, and participation in grant writing.
Develop and implement policies that guarantee clients receive services as outlined in government contracts and other grants.
Financial Management:
Develop and oversee program budgets, meeting regularly with the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director to review expenditures and ensure proper resource allocation.
Provide necessary information to the business office for timely billing of contracts and interactions with contractors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
7-10 years of professional experience in operations and management is preferred, with at least 5 years in program management within community-based anti-poverty initiatives.
Proven experience in team management, cross-functional collaboration, staff development, and goal setting is essential.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local funding systems is crucial.
Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills are required, along with strong project reporting capabilities and successful interdepartmental communication.
Technological proficiency is a must; multilingual skills are a strong plus but not mandatory.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000
