Director of Sales

Pilgrim's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales - Field Operations to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic plans to achieve our sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets
- Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers and Broker Market Level teams to achieve sales objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Trade, Category, Product Innovation & Finance, to support sales initiatives
- Establish and maintain relationships with Regional Chain targets, Distributors, and Broker Teams to drive sales growth
- Utilize Pilgrim's Sales Process (PSP) to negotiate and grow customer business
- Ensure a robust pipeline is maintained by RSM team members to deliver upon sales targets
- Review sales program analytics and conduct regular meetings with key personnel to measure results and adjust operational plans
- 10+ years of sales experience in the food service industry, preferably in the poultry or protein industry
- 10+ years of experience leading a team
- Bachelor of Science degree required, MBA preferred
- Extensive travel required (estimated 50%+)
- Superior planning and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency with computer applications required
- Competitive base salary range of $160,000 - $175,000
- Incentive pay through our annual bonus plan
