We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Asset Manager to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing the tax affairs of our clients, including financial statement reporting, tax compliance, and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including financial statement reporting and tax planning
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including accounting and finance teams, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
  • Provide tax advice and guidance to clients on tax-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant tax requirements
Requirements:
  • Professionally qualified CPA with strong technical US tax knowledge
  • Minimum 8 years post-qualification tax experience at a leading accounting firm
  • Significant tax financial reporting experience, including the impact of book/tax differences and financial statement disclosures
  • In-depth knowledge of fund structures and fund and corporate tax compliance (U.S. Federal, state and international)
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, including internal and external service providers
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
