About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our Security Solutions team at LONG Building Technologies, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our security solutions and driving sales growth in existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve booking and gross margin goals
  • Manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts, consisting of building owners, end-users, and property managers
  • Effectively perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations
  • Work with operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources to obtain sales
  • Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion and smooth sales-to-operations turnover
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales-related work experience
  • Moderate related technical and financial expertise
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
  • Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, electronic principles, electrical systems, monitored alarms, and engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with excellent customer service and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in business or a similar field with 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Certification in security systems or related fields (e.g., ASIS CPP, PSP)
  • Knowledge of local and national security regulations and standards
Work Environment

This position requires working in an indoor office environment, customer sites, and general construction sites. The role may involve inclement weather, various risks typical of construction sites, and elevated surfaces including roofs.
