We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Senior Consultant to join our team at Clarkston Consulting. As a TPM Senior Consultant, you will partner with top consumer goods companies to design and execute improvements across the entire Trade Promotion Management lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with clients to identify and implement process improvements across the TPM lifecycle, including Annual Planning, Budgeting, Customer Planning, Retail Execution, Settlements, Measuring & Reporting, and Category Optimization.
- Share best practices, industry knowledge, and personal expertise to educate clients and fellow consultants in formal and ad hoc settings.
- Convert business processes into functional requirements, recommend current technology solutions, and assess software vendors based on organizational needs.
- Leverage experience with trade systems (e.g., Exceedra, Demantra, AFS, CAS) to facilitate all aspects of a TPM implementation.
- Earn trusted client status and build relationships that extend beyond the project's lifecycle.
- Train and support end-users, sharing best practices and ensuring smooth transitions to new processes and systems.
- 5+ years of experience working in the Trade Promotion Management space.
- Strong understanding and experience with trade processes including deductions, settlements, trade check requests, trade accruals, and trade finance (interfaces, reporting, etc.).
- Flexibility and adaptability – our consultants work across various aspects of the trade process, including process and technology initiatives.
- Direct experience with TPM systems such as Exceedra, Demantra, AFS, CAS, etc.
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
