Job Summary

The Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications, and ensuring the accuracy and safety of the medication use process. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacology, patient care, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medication orders and dispense medications in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure the accuracy and safety of the medication use process
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan for continuum of care and discharge planning
  • Provide drug information support to other healthcare team members
  • Oversee the work of pharmacy students and technicians
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • PharmD degree (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience working in a hospital or advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE) in a clinical setting (preferred)
  • RPH-LIC - PA Pharmacist License (required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (preferred)
