Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication Verification: Assess and confirm medication orders for suitability and safety.
  • Patient Assessment: Evaluate patient medical history and identify potential drug interactions to mitigate risks.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain medication stock with accuracy.
  • Professional Guidance: Offer drug-related information and mentor pharmacy students and technicians.
  • Collaborative Healthcare: Work alongside the healthcare team to enhance patient care and facilitate discharge planning.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution is required; PharmD is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hospital experience or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in a clinical environment is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
    • PA Pharmacist License is mandatory.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is preferred.

Work Schedule:
