The Admitting Patient Representative II plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient admission process for patients at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This position is responsible for verifying patient demographics, insurance information, and authorization for hospital services, as well as creating patient financial files and obtaining required signatures.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Obtain authorization for hospital services
- Create patient financial files
- Obtain required signatures
- Interface with patients, third-party payors, and review organizations
- Identify alternative financial sources for services
- Facilitate the processing of Medi-Cal/CCS applications
- 2 years previous registration experience preferred
- 6 months insurance verification experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
- Accuracy in data collection highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Pay Scale Information$37,232.00-$61,953.00
Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
