Saxon Global is in search of a highly proficient Senior IVR Solutions Architect with a strong background in Genesys Pure Cloud Development and a successful history of executing cloud transitions.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and deploying cloud-centric solutions aimed at optimizing our software frameworks and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and sustain cloud-oriented software solutions utilizing Genesys Pure Cloud Development tools and methodologies.
Lead and engage actively in the transition process from Genesys Pure Connect (on-premise) to the Genesys Pure Connect (cloud) platform, ensuring a smooth migration and peak performance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software architects, project leads, and quality assurance specialists, to delineate project specifications and deliver superior software solutions.
Conduct comprehensive code evaluations and offer constructive insights to team members to ensure compliance with best practices and uphold high coding standards.
Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges promptly, partnering closely with support and operations teams to provide effective solutions.
Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in cloud development, continuously evaluating and proposing enhancements to existing systems.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Extensive expertise in Genesys Pure Cloud Development, with a robust comprehension of cloud architecture and design principles.
Demonstrated success in migrating from Genesys Pure Connect (on-premise) to Genesys Pure Connect (cloud) platform.
Proficient in Java and API development, with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with Cobol, DB2, and SQL, capable of engaging with legacy systems and databases.
Strong analytical skills and the capability to dissect complex issues and formulate effective solutions.
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with alternative cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Awareness of software security principles and best practices.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.
