Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our team at Jewell Instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for soldering circuit boards, reworking small components, and ensuring the quality of their work.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in a related field, and excellent manual dexterity. They must also be able to work under a microscope and follow drawings with mechanical aptitude.

In addition to a competitive salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year, we offer an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401K plan, holiday, and vacation time.

Responsibilities:
  • Solder circuit boards, both surface mount and through hole
  • Rework small components
  • Able to work under a microscope
  • Follow drawings and have mechanical aptitude
  • Ensure quality of own work
  • Maintain neat and clean area

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 1 year experience
  • Must have good manual dexterity
  • Must pass solder test
  • Able to work in a team environment
