Dispel's Finance Team:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Austin, TX or Houston, TX. As an essential member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Your exceptional organizational and analytical skills will enable you to maintain accurate financial records and provide valuable insights to drive business growth.

### Job Responsibilities

- Process invoices and verify vendor information.
- Prepare and issue checks or electronic payments for approved invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all payable transactions.

### Accounts Receivable Duties

- Generate invoices and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Process customer payments received.
- Apply cash receipts to customer accounts accurately.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment issues promptly.
- Prepare aging reports and analyze receivable trends.

### Additional Responsibilities

- Assist with general accounting tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and report preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial records.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments.
- An eagerness to learn and grow in the field of Accounting & Finance.

### Educational Background and Skills

- A degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance, or graduation in the next 6 months.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
